In 2019, Amy joined Lucas Group as Managing Partner of the Information Technology practice group in Cincinnati. Focusing on Ohio, Pennsylvania and Northern Kentucky, she sources top-tier candidates for leading employers while also managing a growing and thriving team of impeccable recruiters. Giving each unique situation her personal touch, Amy gets to know and understand individuals and their career goals so she can help them land the next best step in their professional lives. Enthusiastic and a straight-shooter, she remains committed throughout the entire recruiting process, offering consultative advice and guidance built on honesty and ethics.
Prior to Lucas Group, Amy spent 17 years with Robert Half International, where she sat in many seats, giving her robust experience across the entire recruiting spectrum—from contract to contract placements and direct hire. She started in contract recruiting initially and later moved on to direct-hire recruiting and led the direct-hire team for her last eight years with the company. Throughout her career, Amy exceeded the $5 million mark in billings and was named to the firm’s Platinum Club. Amy’s extensive career in recruiting as well as her innate ability to lead by example are the cornerstones of her successful career at Lucas Group.
Amy’s free time is spent at sporting events with her children, traveling to new places as well as gardening and trying new restaurants and food. A former high school show choir member, she still loves to sing and has been known to break into song any chance she gets. Amy holds a B.S. in Mass Communication from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio
