Andrew joined Lucas Group in 2018 as a researcher, supporting business development initiatives as well as helping with candidate profiling. After eight months, he was promoted to Executive Search Consultant in the Human Resources practice group. In his role, Andrew sources high-caliber HR professionals for a wide range of positions within mid-tier to Fortune 500 corporations throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. By learning exactly what people like and dislike about their positions and companies, he consistently makes long-term matches that benefit both parties.
Before Lucas Group, Andrew did HRIS and compliance for a startup company, where he wore many hats and gained a clear view of what companies need in the right hire. With a keen sense for aligning candidates with employers based on more than just a job description, he makes strategic hires based on skill sets, personalities and cultural fits. Coachable and friendly, Andrew is a team player and collaborates with his colleagues to ensure the success of his candidates and clients.
Andrew enjoys exercising, spending time with friends and playing soccer as well as cheering for Philadelphia’s sports teams. He is also involved with the Andrew L. Hicks, Jr. foundation, which helps impoverished children in Philadelphia. Andrew holds a B.S. in psychology from the University of Maryland – College Park.
