Ann was tapped to expand Lucas Group’s Human Resources Division in Washington, D.C. in 2015. Tasked with leading and managing the HR group in the area, Ann continues to build an impressive team of recruiters who consistently meet and exceed the needs of their clients and candidates. Partnering with clients on manger to C level searches in the HR field, her team works in all functions and facets of HR in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Ann addresses the hiring needs of her clients by taking the time to reveal and understand what the clients really needs. Realizing that successful placements rely on the right timing and the right fit, Ann's number one priority is building strong relationships with both her clients and candidates, which lead to long-term, strategic placements.
Ann began her recruiting career in 2005 with The Ford Agency, running a full desk and managing a small team of recruiters. Her expertise was in small to mid-sized businesses, filling positions at all levels across industries with a specific focus on legal, not-for-profit and associations while also seeing success and influence in technology, venture capital, real estate and financial services. Ann’s extensive experience in and impeccable insight of working in the DC market has made her a leading recruiter in the area.
An active member of the national and local SHRM chapter and membership committee. Ann has authored multiple blogs on current trends and the future of HR. She has spoken at Disrupt HR and looks forward to continuing to grow her influence. She can also typically be found chasing her two boys around the house or maintaining their backyard oasis. Ann holds a BA in Communication with a focus in Public Rhetoric and Discourse from the University of Maryland, College Park.
