Ben joined Lucas Group in 2018 with six years of previous recruiting experience. Working with leading sales & marketing talent as well as top employers throughout the area, Ben works to make strategic matches and build long-term relationships with both parties. Competitive by nature and by relying on his critical thinking and reasoning skills, he develops the best and most efficient solutions for his clients and candidates. Realizing executive recruiting is a puzzle rather than a hustle, Ben enjoys the intricate details of the recruiting process and making successful, long-term placements for his clients and candidates.
After college, Ben began his career selling health and life insurance before transitioning to a recruiting role at a small executive search firm. He then expanded from insurance recruiting to restaurant, retail, hospitality, HR, sales and marketing recruiting. Ben later moved in exclusively IT for a few years working on contract roles before returning to his career passion in executive search. His experience in recruiting and focus on building relationships ensure he sources the ideal candidate for each and every position.
Ben holds a B.S. in Psychology with a focus on IO Psych (Industrial-Organization) from Spring Hill College; he also has AIRS and Advanced Recruiting Tactics certifications. Ben spends his free time going to the gym, finding the perfect chips and salsa and volunteering with his high school alumni association.
