Debbie came to Lucas Group in 2016 with 16 years of experience in accounting and finance recruiting. As Senior Partner in Lucas Group’s Accounting & Finance practice group, she works with small- to large-size businesses as well as Fortune 500 corporations throughout the Houston area to source the accounting and finance talent they need to improve bottom lines and drive success. With diverse industry experience, Debbie focuses primarily on the oil & gas and manufacturing sectors, diligently working to find the ideal professionals needed to fill complex and often challenging positions. Her impeccable relationship-building skills help her to quickly establish credibility and rapport with both clients and candidates. With a collaborative approach, Debbie works with her internal and external team to ensure she makes strategic matches that benefit all parties.
Prior to joining Lucas Group, Debbie worked for Experis for more than five years in addition to other Fortune 500 corporations in accounting and finance recruiting. Throughout her extensive recruiting career, she has earned top producer awards multiple times and is a proven mentor and trainer. Prior to recruiting, Debbie spent 16 years with Continental Airlines, working her way up from reservations to sales manager where she partnered with corporations and travel agencies in Houston. Debbie’s impressive career history has made her a “must know” in the industry and a go-to resource for her colleagues and team.
Adventurous and always up for trying something new, Debbie has been skydiving, completed a half marathon and loves skiing. Growing up in an Air Force family and working for an airline for many years, Debbie has developed a passion for traveling; she has been to more than 17 different countries. Debbie spends her free time volunteering with the Depelchin Children’s Center, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the Susan G. Komen foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project.
