Before coming to Lucas Group, Jessica worked at Cox Communications, where she was promoted quickly. She began as a sales representative and was promoted to sales manager and also earned Agent of the Month seven times and was the top performer of the month overall consistently during her tenure. She also won numerous sales contents during her nearly three years with the company. While Jessica enjoyed the personal aspect of sales, she found she was not a very transaction-type of seller and later found herself in executive recruiting.
Jessica came to Lucas Group in 2017 and quickly made a mark at the firm, being promoted within her first year. She immediately immersed herself in the world of this constantly-evolving industry. In her role, Jessica sources top IT talent for a wide range of employers from mid-tier to Fortune 500 corporations throughout Cincinnati and the Midwest. With technology being the way of the future, it intrigues her because she talks to and works with individuals who are very passionate about the industry and their positions. “These professionals not only do IT for a living, but they go home and do side projects and research. I’m amazed by these individuals who live and breathe IT,” she says.
While her clients and candidates keep her busy in her professional career, Jessica’s family keeps her busy at home, maintaining her son’s sports schedule and making memories as a family. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and is an alumna of Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
