Kelly came to Lucas Group as a Senior Partner in the Accounting & Finance practice group in 2017 and has been promoted to Senior Managing Partner. Devoted purely to direct hire placement and recruitment of financial talent in Houston and the surrounding area, she has a broad understanding of the structure of finance and accounting teams across company sizes and industries including Oilfield Services, Oil & Gas (upstream, midstream, downstream), CPA firms and other Professional/Financial Services, Technology, Manufacturing, Real Estate Development and Services, Mining, Energy and other natural resources.
Since beginning her career in accounting & finance recruiting in 2004, Kelly has sat on the board of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and the Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance (AFWA); she has also interviewed more than 4,000 accounting & finance professionals. Her career has included being a top performer for an international recruiting firm for ten years, as well as running her own staffing company in Florida for three years. Kelly’s extensive knowledge of and experience in her field set her apart from her competitors and ensure she makes strategic matches for every position.
Competitive by nature, Kelly was offered a collegiate volleyball scholarship. Now she spends some of her free time running and has completed several half marathons as well as one full marathon. She also enjoys volunteering with various causes and spending time with her family. Kelly holds a B.S. in Business Management with minors in Marketing and Industrial Psychology from Georgia Tech (Georgia Institute of Technology) as well as an MBA from the University of North Florida.
