As a Senior Partner and Team Lead for Lucas Group’s HR practice in Chicago, Robert focuses on management- to executive-level positions within HR including generalist, benefits, compensation, total rewards, talent acquisition, talent management, learning/development, organizational development and HR technology roles. In addition to running a full desk, he manages a growing team of recruiters in the Midwest region. Robert and his team partner with mid-tier to Fortune 500 corporations to address their hiring needs with high caliber HR talent who can improve business operations and company culture. He quickly made his mark at Lucas Group, winning Rookie of the Year for 2017 and breaking the all-time billing record for a rookie recruiter.
Prior to Lucas Group, Robert worked as a Recruitment Consultant in Stockholm, Sweden where he was born and raised. While there, he placed both temporary and permanent roles within accounting/finance, HR, payroll, supply chain management and operations. He also has extensive experience in the marine industry, having worked as a yacht broker for the leading boat brokerage in Scandinavia for seven years. Robert’s extensive experience in recruiting and sales together with his international perspective of the industry allow him to consistently make successful, long-term placements.
Away from the office, Robert enjoys skiing, sailing, golfing, traveling and taking long walks with his miniature goldendoodle, Leif. He holds a B.A. in Social Psychology and Human Resources from Uppsala University in Sweden.
