Sam joined Lucas Group in 2019 as Managing Partner of the Information Technology division for the Nashville office. In his role, he manages a growing team of impeccable recruiters while also running a full desk. Sam enjoys helping improve his candidates’ lives while delivering for his clients and helping them hit their goals, creating win-win scenarios for all parties. By taking the time to get to know his clients and candidates on a personal level, he understands their “whys” and is able to truly help them thrive in their careers and business objectives.
Prior to Lucas Group, Sam had amassed a 12-year tenure in the IT recruiting industry. He began his staffing career with a startup and helped to take it from zero to profitability by identifying and partnering with enterprise-level clients in the managed service providers space. During this time, Sam successfully launched the company’s Louisville office in 2009 and later successfully launched the MSP Division in 2017. He won multiple sales contests/trips and had direct management for multiple contest winners for his unparalleled service and commitment to his team. Sam’s background in IT staffing, his ability to lead and his genuine desire to help others succeed make him an industry “must know” and ensures consistent, positive placements.
Sam spends his free time with his family, three children and friends as well as follows the Tennessee Titans and Predators. He holds a B.S. in integrated studies from Middle Tennessee State University and is on the board for Watermelon Ministries
