Tara came to Lucas Group in 2012 with nearly six years of experience in recruiting and two years in investment banking. She quickly made her mark at the firm being promoted to Senior Partner within her first year; she has also been named to the President’s Club multiple, consecutive years and in 2016 will be named to the prestigious Sterling Club. Tara enjoys the constant challenge that comes with recruiting—striving to find the ideal talent for her clients both quickly and efficiently. Doing everything in her power to save her clients precious time, her approach is simple, yet effective—make recommendations, gain approval and execute.
Tara believes that gaining an understanding of the key drivers and direction of a hiring manager's team and business as a whole is just as important as understanding long-term goals. An alumna of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tara remains involved with the University of Illinois College of Business Alumni Association Board. In her free time, she also enjoys international travel, wine collecting, interior design and hot power yoga.
