For Adrian Fryer, executive recruiting is a mix of two skills with which he is very familiar: building relationships with clients and helping people grow both personally and professionally. When Adrian joined Lucas Group as Internal Talent Acquisition Specialist earlier this year, he believed firmly that prior industry experience as well as a background in the food service industry would be excellent proving ground for his transition. His understanding of and appreciation for the needs and culture of Lucas Group have skillfully guided his recruitment and retention of industry specialists.
Before joining Lucas Group, Adrian spent eight years in contingency recruiting at his previous company and 12 years before that in upper level management with Metromedia Restaurant Group and Brinker International. His determination and commitment to client services have served him well – having been named one of just two recruiters selected to guide a major Fortune 500 client to the title of Leading National Vendor for Talent Acquisition in 2013.
For Adrian, ethics and integrity are at the heart of everything he does. He is ever-aware of his responsibilities not only in regard to Lucas Group, but with respect to all potential clients. He is honest up front if it’s not a good fit, but when it is, Adrian says it’s hugely satisfying. “It’s very rewarding to know that when a candidate is placed with Lucas Group they are coming to a great company. It’s an extra reward to get to see them blossom and grow in their careers.”
In his off-time, Adrian enjoys spending time in the great outdoors — fly fishing, hiking and camping with his wife and two young sons.
