Alena came on board with Lucas Group in 2015 as an Executive Search Consultant in the Human Resources Division. She specializes in placing mid- to senior-level HR professionals in a wide range of positions and organizations throughout the Houston metro area. Her impeccable follow up and strong relationship-building skills have set her apart from her peers and competitors and have allowed her to quickly make a significant impact at the firm. Alena enjoys connecting with professionals of different backgrounds and working together to achieve a common goal of addressing HR staffing needs with transcendent HR talent.
Alena began her career in HR in 2011 with Gardner Denver as an HR Assistant to the HR Director. She later progressed to HR Coordinator with Federal Maintenance Hawaii, where she oversaw the HR Department for the organization. Wanting to focus more on the recruiting aspect of HR, Alena transitioned to executive recruiting to further cultivate her passion for sourcing and retaining top talent. Her knowledge and expertise in HR combined with her drive and focus to succeed position her to thrive in her role at Lucas Group.
Alena’s passion for recruiting is matched with her passion for animal welfare, and she devotes much of her free time to volunteering with the Humane Society. She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler and an M.Ed. from the University of Houston.
