The tough part is finding the right culture fit. Efficient and resourceful, Anna Miller diligently works to find the ideal individuals who fit seamlessly into her clients’ organizations. Her persistence in making strategic matches has led to a long track record of successful placements.
Anna joined the Lucas Group team in 2016 as a Senior Executive Search Consultant in the Human Resources practice group. Coming from an HR background, Anna is able to truly understand the profession, career path, reporting structure, nuances and trends in the industry. By “speaking the language” of HR, she addresses her clients’ complex staffing needs while helping candidates’ to further their careers. Having made both a geographical and professional move herself, Anna can relate to the unknowns of plunging into a new culture, team and career, and she enjoys having the ability to guide candidates through that process.
Anna began her recruiting in 2005 with Express Employment Professionals. For eleven years, she focused on high volume staffing and worked her way up from Staffing Consultant to Branch Operations Manager. During this time, she helped grow the team from five to twenty individuals and worked closely with the owner to meet the needs of their clients. While there, Anna also served on the board of her local SHRM chapter for six years and ended her role as President when she moved to D.C. in 2016.
A transplant to the D.C. area, Anna and her husband enjoy exploring the city, spending time with their Beagle as well as cooking, reading and searching for their new favorite wines. Anna holds a B.S. in Business with a focus in HR from Bradley University; she also has PHR and SHRM-CP Certifications.
