Having grown up with a father who had a recruiting firm, pursuing a career in executive recruiting was always in the back of Brett Miller’s mind. After spending time in real estate and sales, he decided to take a chance in executive recruiting, where he has enjoyed a thriving career.
Brett came to Lucas Group in 2018 as an Executive Search Consultant in the Information Technology practice group. Sourcing leading IT talent across a broad spectrum of capabilities, he strategically places them within mid-tier to Fortune 500 corporations throughout the Northeast. Patient and detail-oriented, he enjoys helping people find meaningful careers while building long-term relationships that last beyond a single placement. His self-motivated personality and ability to connect with people of all levels ensure he makes consistent, successful placements that benefit both his clients and candidates.
Before joining the Lucas Group team, Brett spent two years at Randstad working as an account manager doing IT recruiting and business development on the client side. Prior to recruiting, he worked in New York City doing real estate rentals in Manhattan. He also spent a couple of years with Dow Jones in sales, where he went in as a customer service representative and was quickly promoted to a sales role. While there, Brett developed new business while cultivating existing accounts for Dow Jones consumer products and solutions. Brett’s background in sales and business development are a strong foundation for his continued success at Lucas Group.
With a B.S. in Psychology from State University of New York at Buffalo, Brett spends his free time reading, exercising, being with friends and family as well as traveling.
