Having passion for and taking a valued interest in your career is the cornerstone of continued professional success. Dianne Metcalf finds great reward in positively impacting the lives of her candidates and clients and strives to find the best fit that meets both parties’ needs and goals.

Prior to joining Lucas Group, Dianne was a Controller for a publicly traded Oil and Gas Exploration and Production company before transitioning to Carlton Staffing where she enjoyed a 9-year tenure, leaving as a Branch Manager. Dianne then owned and operated Metcalf Resources, a boutique firm specializing in Direct Hire Accounting and Finance placements in the Houston Market. With ten years of executive recruiting experience, Dianne transitioned to Lucas Group in 2012, where she specializes in placing candidates in all areas of Accounting, Finance, Tax, Audit and Treasury.

Dianne’s enthusiasm, candidness and professionalism allow her to engage her clients throughout the entire recruiting process. She takes ownership of the jobs she writes and attacks them with enviable commitment and dedication. Dianne’s transparency and concern for the proper fit in a position is a driving force for her to find the best candidate in the market for her clients with each and every placement. She values maintaining long-term relationships with many of her candidates, watching them grow and flourish in their careers over the years. She takes pride in her longest placement– a financial analyst advancing from their first job after college to 16+ years later having progressed to Director of Finance, surviving four acquisitions.

Dianne has a BS in Accounting and Finance from Houston Baptist University where she graduated Cum Laude; she has also been a Certified Public Accountant since 1988. Dianne received a Special Recognition Award from the Houston CPA Society in 2011 as well as the Most Creative CPA of 2010 and Outstanding CPA of the Year in 2009. When she’s not recruiting, Dianne redirects her passion toward cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family.
