Successful recruiters are both competitive as well as have a natural drive to want to help others achieve. Kevin Semien’s entire career has centered around coaching others and helping them to realize their goals.
With a background in sales and a former collegiate athlete, Kevin came to Lucas Group in 2017 as an Executive Search Consultant and was soon promoted to Senior Executive Search Consultant as well as won Sales Trip and President’s Club. He specializes in the placement of applications and infrastructure opportunities within Information Technology throughout the Houston metro area. Creative and resourceful, Kevin identifies skillsets and builds relationships with candidates whose experience is very niche or in high demand. With the ability to quickly grasp and understand new and emerging technology trends, he strategically sources candidates who meet and exceed his clients’ needs in difficult-to-find spaces.
Prior to Lucas Group, Kevin was a sales manager for a 24 Hour Fitness, where he was promoted several times during his two-year tenure. He was also responsible for the largest single transaction for personal training which equaled roughly $15,000 in one transaction. Wanting to capitalize on his sales skills while continuing to have the ability to help others reach their goals, Kevin transitioned to recruiting in 2017, where his career continues to thrive.
Kevin enjoys spending time with his soon-to-be wife as well as playing golf. He holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston – Downtown and played college baseball at McNeese, LSU Shreveport and Angelina College.
