An experienced veteran in the executive recruiting industry, Paul partners with clients and candidates to build careers and provide solutions to complex business problems.

Paul began his recruiting career in 1999 with Barrett Partners as Search Division Supervisor making permanent placements for accounting and finance professionals. A natural at recruiting, he quickly advanced to top recruiter of Accounting/Finance Department at the firm within a year and a half. He then joined Lucas Group in 2001 and through his continued success has progressed to Senior Partner in the Accounting & Finance division at the firm. Throughout his tenure at Lucas Group, Paul has developed an active client base across all lines of industries ranging in size from Fortune 500 to middle market and boutique consulting companies; his areas of expertise include corporate finance, operational accounting, audit, tax and consulting with salary levels ranging from $75k to $175k.

Paul’s strong knowledge of the Chicago business community is unparalleled. His insight recently allowed him to fill all the finance positions for a client who recently moved their North American Finance Department to the Chicago area. An exceptional listener and fast learner, Paul builds long-term relationships with his candidates by clearly understanding their needs and objectives. His follow through and commitment to his searches see that he consistently makes strategic, long-term placements for his candidates and clients.

Paul holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys reading, music and raising his children.
