Steve joined Lucas Group in 2016 as a Senior Executive Search Consultant in the Legal division. He sources top legal talent for a variety of positions ranging from partners at small, boutique firms to in-house counsel at Fortune 500 corporations. Steve’s diverse and extensive pool of experience helps him to identify attorneys who can help companies reach their business objectives while fitting seamlessly into their respective corporate cultures. His approach hinges on building long-term partnerships rather than simple, one-time transactional relationships. Transparency is key to this as well as the identification of both weaknesses and strengths in client companies and candidates is paramount in making strategic placements. Acting as a consultative career advisor to candidates and a business partner to client companies/firms, Steve’s focus is on making sound, permanent matches rather than filling positions.
Steve’s professional background is rooted in investment management and health care, specifically in business development of cancer centers and replacement radiation oncology technology. A mentor by nature, he spends his free time coaching youth sports for his three children and being a positive role model in the lives of children. Steve holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland at College Park.
