For more than a decade, Victor Palumbo has consistently led among the Lucas Group Accounting and Finance division with a passion for delivering the industry’s most reliable practices and superior results.

Victor was recruited into Lucas Group in 1998 to help establish and expand the burgeoning Chicago Accounting and Finance market. Under his skilled leadership, the Chicago office quickly distinguished itself by hiring and retaining the industry’s most knowledgeable and committed recruiting professionals. Combining a deep Midwest connection with Lucas Group’s broad national reach, Victor and his motivated team provide clients and candidates with unmatched speed, scope, and quality.

With the longevity and success of the Chicago Accounting and Finance office as his blueprint, today Victor continues to expand his team-building scope as National Practice Group Leader. Setting a notable pace and maintaining unrelenting standards, he leads by honest example. Lucas Group’s unique ability to collaborate across cities and industries enables Victor and his high-energy teams to collectively deliver transcendent talent to businesses across the country.

Dedicated to excellence, Victor helped define and develop Lucas Group’s Best Practices Program, which outlines a series of methods, techniques, and tools – each designed to create superior results for every client and candidate. He is the recipient of numerous Lucas Group honors, including multiple President’s Club awards and the 2004 Presidential Award for Excellence. In 2006 the Chicago Accounting and Finance team became the largest and most productive branch in the Lucas Group and was awarded the 2008 Branch of the Year.

Prior to Lucas Group, Victor served in sales, marketing, business development, and consulting with United Stationers, a $5 billion distribution company with a specific focus on building successful sales organizations through strategic hiring and retention programs.

An avid Chicago sports fan, Victor’s core belief in the undeniable value of quality relationships has been reinforced since becoming the father to two young girls. Committed to family, neighborhood, and firm, Victor holds a degree in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
