Buddy’s years as a lawyer give him a unique perspective into what both attorneys and law firms are looking for, and this allows him to find the best match for all parties. Additionally, his years in the legal field have given him a strong network that allows him to best serve counselors and clients alike.​

Buddy started his legal career as a litigator with a law firm in downtown Los Angeles, and he eventually transitioned to recruiting. He started his recruiting career with a boutique that focused on partner laterals in AmLaw firms. Since joining Korn Ferry, Buddy has continued to work with partners, and has worked extensively with associates as well.

Buddy, who originally hails from the East Coast, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the Varsity Heavyweight Rowing Team. Buddy then attended the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and was an Associate Editor of the San Diego Law Review. Before going to law school, Buddy lived a year in Spain where he worked at the Julian Del Val Fish Market in Madrid. Buddy is a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under the Gracie Family, fluent in Spanish, and a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
