Kim Grant has always thrived in the fast-paced, competitive industry of recruiting, consistently placing in the top five performers and contributors throughout her career. With a hunter mentality, Kim sources top manufacturing talent for leading employers ranging in size from mid-tier to Fortune 500 corporations.
Kim joined Lucas Group in 2018 and was tasked with developing the contract branch for Manufacturing from scratch in the Southeast. As Branch Practice Assistant Manager, she leads a growing team of recruiters while also running a full desk. Kim enjoys making a successful match and the exhilarating feeling that comes from changing someone’s life and organization. A former teacher turned recruiter, Kim uses her coaching abilities to help guide her clients and candidates to positive career and business decisions.
Kim began her career selling capital equipment for 14 years. While there, she developed her technical background and averaged 110% over quota each year. After staying home for ten years to raise her children, she returned to the workforce in recruiting within the manufacturing industry. Focused on contract, contract-to-direct and direct-hire positions, she exceeded goals and expectations for eight years and eventually went into training for the company. Kim also took an unprofitable branch, and within two-and-a-half years, the branch was billing $1.8 million in sales per year. Kim’s impeccable track record of success and her determination to make strategic placements have allowed her to thrive in the executive recruiting industry.
Kim holds a B.S. in Business Education from Georgia State University. She stays busy with her husband and three children as well as their sports and activities.
