Military recruiters must possess a unique skill set—one that speaks to military veterans as well as hiring companies. Marc Wall’s strong client communication, relationship-building and candidate coaching skills, as well as his extensive military background are the driving force behind his ability to make strong, successful, senior-level searches for military jobseekers.
Marc spent 25 years in the United States Navy on Active and Reserve duty as a Captain and Commanding Officer. During this time he was selected as Flight Instructor of the Year by the United States Navy. In his civilian experience prior to Lucas Group, he worked as a Management Consultant and served over 19 years as a Captain for Delta Airlines, where he instructed new captains and first officers in flight operations. With notable experience in both military and civilian life, Marc joined Lucas Group in 2005 and progressed to Senior Partner in the Military Transition division, where he specializes in working with clients to attract military veterans into a wide range of positions and industries nationwide.
Today’s veterans are leaving the military having experienced unbelievable situations and stress. Marc enjoys being able to give back to these men and women by assisting them in finding exceptional leadership opportunities in civilian life. By listening to his client needs, he is able to strategically match candidates to positions, leaving both jobseekers and clients happy with the result. Marc is also a constant student of his trade, continuously learning about his clients and industries to better his recruiting practice and help provide solutions to business problems.
Marc holds a BA in Psychology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania where he was selected to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. He also earned an MBA from the University of West Florida – College of Business. While Marc’s career has allowed him to travel the world, he now enjoys being able to spend more time at home with his wife, daughters and their dogs.
