Patrick Robertson’s move from Queens, New York to Tucson, Arizona never made him feel so out of place. The experience, however, taught him a valuable lesson on the importance of culture and finding the right home for each candidate. This is where he starts when qualifying a potential client or candidate. As a recruiter, it is Patrick’s priority to make sure that his candidates never feel out of place and that the transition for his clients is smooth and seamless.
Patrick came to Lucas Group in 2016 as a Senior Executive Search Consultant in the Sales & Marketing practice. He truly listens to what is being said by both his candidates and clients, taking the time to get to know them and what is really important to them. This enables Patrick to be able to put everyone’s best interest in the forefront and leads to long-term, successful placements. Patrick’s goal in recruiting is to have a direct impact on changing a candidate’s life and career for the better while helping a client achieve their business goals. Assisting people in navigating through the hiring process is one of the most rewarding aspects of recruiting for Patrick and allows him to build strong relationships that last beyond a single placement. It is those relationships, not the transactions, that drive him.
Prior to Lucas Group, Patrick was a recruiter for the number one office in the MRI Network for more than eight years. During his tenure, he was a Sales Manager for two years due to his ability to coach and mentor new associates joining the team. He was also a President’s Club winner for five consecutive years and was given the company’s “Attitude” award for 2014 which was voted on by his peers.
When away from the office, Patrick enjoys traveling and spending time with his family as well as watching horse racing. He’s also an avid sports fan and cheers for the New York Yankees and New York Giants.
